First hours in Mountmellick

After many weeks waiting, suddendly I found myself packing again. This time I didn't make the same mistake than I did in 2014: I put sneakers and sandals into the bag but I also put a pair of boots. I know it's summer but the Irish summer as some of you may know is not that dry and warm.

So once again, I prepared myself to say 'See you soon' to those I love the most: family, friends, boyfriend, dog... Valerón was again the worst part of it, I have to say it :____)

My beloved city - Coruña

Last Saturday I went to a wedding with my boyfriend and it was a big party. The bad part of the weekend was on Sunday because we won't see each other for more than two months. But we have done this before so I trust we will 'survive' again. ♥

No words to add needed ♥

Monday was the last full day at home and the time flew. Tuesday lunch and we - my mum, my dad, Valerón and I - started our way to the airport. I will save you all the drama/details of my last minutes with Valerón. Snif. Snif.
Missing you already ♥

The flight was as calm as always - Aerlingus this time (!!) - and I arrived to Dublin after watching an episode of 'Orange is the new black' and taking a deep nap. Michael - the dad - was there waiting for me with a bottle of water in his hand. It was such a detail! When he saw me with two bags, he said: "Stay forever!" :____) We had a great talk while he was driving to Mountmellick.

Michelle - the mum -, Emma and Jack - the children - were waiting for us at home. I felt very welcome. I had dinner while I chatted with Michelle about next days: the children will finish school next Tuesday, so I have plenty of time to get used with the house, all the family and the environment in general. After that I unpacked and went almost straight to bed - Emma's room will be my room during my time here and she will sleep in Jack's room.

Deportivo scarf travelled with me... It always does!

My basics are with me everytime :)

This morning I woke up at 7.30 to have breakfast with the children and Michelle. After that, I went with Emma to school - it is just five minutes walking - and then I had free time until 2 pm. I had some rest, played with Lennon, did some housework and had a nice walk around town. It looks quiet, coozy and very safe to raise children. I think that I wouldn't be able to live here my whole life but I also think it will be such a great summer! All the family members are really nice and friendly. I feel like home since I arrived!

I spent the last hours of the day watching tv with Emma and Jack, playing in the garden - it hadn't rain in my first 24 hours here but I think tomorrow it will start raining. Irish summer!

Now I'm writing in bed while Michelle is singing 'Somewhere over the rainbow' because Emma can't fall sleep. Soooo sweet ♥. Hope you enjoy this nine weeks adventure as much as I am/will. Thanks for reading... and welcome to the Lith's :)
